S.T.A.R. Shelter-dog Training and Re-homing

This program is looking for volunteers to help with their program. You must be 15 or older and be willing to attend both a general PACC orientation and a S.T.A.R training. You must also be willing to commit to helping with the program at least 3 months, approximately 8 hours per month. The benefits of volunteering would be an opportunity to learn about clicker training and how to objectively evaluate dog temperaments and increase an animal's potential of being adopted by providing further evaluation and training. Plus you know how happy you've made the shelter animals you've worked with, by giving them the attention they so deperately need. S.T.A.R. has also recently added Feline Evaluation and Socialization to their program. If you are a cat lover, this is a great chance to get involved and help out.

Thank you again for your interest and enthusiasm. We look forward to working with you!
